VENUE

The conference will take place at the Spendid Hotel La Torre at Mondello (PA),a traditional fishing village near Palermo and one of the most beautiful and fascinating beaches of the Mediterranean sea. Mondello is just a few minutes bus ride away from the city centre.
The Splendid Hotel La Torre is situated after the large semi-circular beach, just a few metres on the other side of the fishing village on a little promontory of which the hotel occupies the smaller part, overlooking the bay with its park stretching out in the opposite diection as far as the Capo Gallo coastal reserve. From June to September, this particularly noted Sicilian swimming area is open to the public. Overthere you will find all aquatic sports (sailing, windsurfing, water-biking, motor-boating, diving, etc)

by Train: take the railway Punta Raisi - Palermo Centrale (timetable - cost 5 Euro) at the railway station situated in the underground floor of the airport terminal; stop at Francia station; go to viale Strasburgo (5 min. walking - map) and take the bus n.544 to Mondello (bus terminal Mondello - via Teti); the hotel is reachable in 5 min. walking ( map).
